Yes. Two separable double bedrooms, safe kitchen, no steep stairs, Rapallo has a pram-friendly seafront and a paediatrician at the pharmacy. A cot can be requested at booking.

Final policy will be announced at opening. The house is not equipped for large pets. For small pet-friendly dogs we are evaluating a pilot policy with a dedicated deposit.

No. Central FS station, train every 20 minutes across the Tigullio, ferries to Portofino and Camogli from the harbour. Car only needed if you want to travel outside the Tigullio (Cinque Terre also easy by train). Our honest guide.

20 minutes door-to-door: train to Santa Margherita Ligure (8 min, every 20 min) + bus 82 to Portofino (12 min). Or ferry directly from Rapallo (30 min in season). Full guide.

15 minutes by train (frequency every 20-30 min). One of our favourite day trips, especially for Recco focaccia and the boat crossing to San Fruttuoso. See Camogli.

55 to 75 minutes by train to Monterosso/Vernazza, change at Sestri Levante or La Spezia. Easy day trip from Rapallo, avoiding overnight in often crowded and expensive villages. Cinque Terre or Portofino.

40 minutes to Genova Brignole, 45 to Genova Principe (train every 20 min). Easy for city days (Aquarium, Boccadasse, Strada Nuova) or for flights from Genoa Airport (Volabus from airport to Brignole in 30 min). See Genoa.

Genoa Airport (GOA, 45 km): train Rapallo-Genova Brignole (35 min) + Volabus airport shuttle (45 min) = 1h30 total. Pisa Airport (PSA, 175 km): train with change at La Spezia (~3h). Milan Linate/Malpensa: ~3h total.

May-June and September-early October: ideal temperatures (20-25°C), sea still/already warm, events (Camogli Fish Festival, Genoa Boat Show, Recco Fire Festival), reasonable prices. July for top events (Feste di Luglio Rapallo). August: lovely but very hot and high prices. Winter: Rapallo is liveable, mild cold (10-15°C), few tourists, great for workation. See monthly guides.

Cancellation policy will be published at opening. Oriented to be flexible for cancellations up to 7-14 days in advance, depending on season.
